We endured Year 11 and Year 12 English together, so that's why we're "English table buds", haha. I have fond memories of chatting away with them instead of (entirely) focusing on our work~
So just before we part ways for another semester of uni, we managed to catch up and have lunch at Strathfield. At first, we sat in My Sweet Memory Cafe and caught up on the usual. Then walked about for a bit before settling into SQ Restaurant to have lunch~
Imma yoink photos of Hong because I was (again) too timid with my camera to take enough shots, heh.

Hanh's seafood pancake.

Hong's bulgogi.

My spaghetti cabonara!

Ah, it was great to finally catch up! I super look forward to the next time too! Must take more photos then!
Aww how lovely :) I'm long overdue with my highschool buddies for a catch up but our times aren't as flexible as we'd hope for it to be :( It's like that say, food brings people together! :D All this food, especially the pancake, is making me hungry.
ReplyDeleteHope you manage to catch up with your buddies soon! Leaving it for two years like I did is pretty bonkers, haha. Also hope you get to catch up over some nice nomz~
DeleteLooks lovely! I always try to catch up with my high school friends as well :)
ReplyDelete'Twas quite lovely indeed! It's good that you stay in touch with your high school friends~ Always fun to hear about new things in their lives!
Deletethe foodie looks yumm! I think once you get to uni, high school friends start to see each other less and less until one day you realise its been years!
ReplyDeleteThe food was pretty good! And definitely true, haha. I haven't seen most high school peeps for a few years as well!
DeleteSo this was the catch up you were telling me abouts ~
ReplyDeleteOh Jen! You and your pastaaaaa! I like how you order spaghetti in a Korean restaurant xD
Haha, yeah! I prefer western food over Asian fewdz.

Hanh ordered the seafood pancake because it's her favourite Korean food item, ahah! She said the one from SQ is okay, but she's had better, loool.
